  3. citizenship, and outdoor life. It was founded 
  4. (as the Boy Scouts) in England 1908 by Robert 
  5. Baden-Powell. His book Scouting for Boys 1908 
  6. led to the incorporation in the UK of the Boy 
  7. Scout Association by royal charter in 1912.
